Our Impact
Youth engagement, reducing ASB
“StreetSoc is more than football, it’s a positive outlet that keeps young people active, engaged, and off the streets. By offering structured games, mentoring, and a sense of purpose, the league helps tackle antisocial behaviour (ASB) head-on. With trusted youth workers, community leaders, and role models on-site, StreetSoc provides a safe space where young people can build confidence, respect, and real-life skills, while doing something they love.”
Poverty & inequality - access for all
Many young people miss out on sport because of cost, lack of transport, or cultural barriers. StreetSoc removes those obstacles. It’s completely free to join, held in local, accessible venues, and designed with inclusion at its core. No expensive kit, no hidden fees, just the opportunity to play, connect, and grow. Football should be for everyone, and StreetSoc makes sure it is.
Funders & community legacy
StreetSoc is proudly supported by partners and funders who believe in the power of sport to drive social change, Gwent Police, FAW, local councils, and grassroots organisations. Their backing helps us deliver safe, inclusive football for all. Beyond the league, StreetSoc builds long-term impact, stronger community ties, reduced antisocial behaviour, and clear pathways into clubs, training, and leadership. This isn’t just a summer league, it’s a foundation for the future.
